Lawyer Francesco Rocco di Torrepadula (1944-2020) was a leading figure in social security law and national law, leaving an indelible mark in over forty years of brilliant and passionate practice.

Trained at the prestigious Nunziatella Military School, he began his professional career in 1971 at INPS in Milan, where over fifteen years he developed the extraordinary expertise in social security and law that made him a national figurehead. In 1986, he launched his own private practice, earning the trust of major industrial and healthcare groups with his specialization in and union law.

A recognized master, he taught at the AGI Higher Education School and collaborated with the University of Milan, passing on his passion to entire generations of colleagues. Author of countless specialized publications, his legal analyses have set standards.

A man of refined culture, he lived three great loves with equal intensity: law, classical music, and aeronautics. His secret? “Being a lawyer is heart and science,” his winning formula combining “mad and desperate” study and total emotional involvement. He firmly believed that “form is substance” and always maintained that if “the strength of mathematics is that it is not an opinion, the strength of law is that it is an opinion” He built his defence strategies on this principle, always ready to change perspective and put himself in the interlocutor’s shoes to refine his arguments and achieve the best results for his clients.

A tireless perfectionist, he possessed the art of transforming insights into winning strategies, with the mastery of someone who can bring brilliant solutions to even the most complex situations. His work methodology, based on rigor and creativity, was contagious for all his collaborators.

Meet Francesco Rocco di Torrepadula: a master who has made curiosity and continuous improvement the hallmarks of his professional philosophy, giving us the example of a life lived with intelligence, passion, and that subtle irony that makes everything more beautiful.
