Graduated with honors from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan (1972). Diploma from the City of London Polytechnic and the Parker School at Columbia University, New York.

Founder of Riccomagno Law Firm (1983) and Co-Founder of MR International Lawyers (2016). Of Counsel of Wegal (December 2022).

During his professional experience, Mario has held operational roles at numerous international institutions, associations and organizations.

The most important role he received was, in the 1990s, that of Advisor to the Section on Business Law of the International Bar Association.

In 1990, together with colleagues of various nationalities, he founded the Mediterranean Maritime Arbitration Association, of which he was Secretary General for about twenty years.

He is the author of five publications (in collective form) on international conventions, professional liability, multimodal transport, shipbuilding, mediation and commercial arbitration.

He has written fifty articles and case notes in specialized Italian and foreign journals.

Member of the Steering Committee of Il Diritto Marittimo. Arbitrator in national and international disputes.
