After graduating in Law from the University of Milan, he began his professional career by collaborating for over twenty years with the law firm of Francesco Rocco di Torrepadula, whose legacy he later inherited by founding the Rocco di Torrepadula & Scarnato law firm. He worked in the company throughout his university career, an experience that gave him a concrete sensitivity in understanding business issues and a natural propensity to think in terms of sustainability of solutions, even before formal rigor.

He assists groups, companies, and entities — including public and publicly held entities—in corporate restructuring, M&A, relations, and employment management, from the negotiation stage through termination. He defends companies at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court, and in arbitration.

In social security matters, he assists national and international employers – including in bankruptcy proceedings – in disputes relating to contribution obligations, in inspection activities by INPS, INAIL and the Inspectorate, as well as in proceedings challenging notices of debit and injunctions.
